North American Festival of Wales
Each year the North American Festival of Wales is held in different locations. In 2028 it will be held in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. CAPCA will use this opportunity to foster contacts and opportunities to celebrate Welsh culture on both sides of the Atlantic.
In 2025 it will take place in Ontario, Canada on 27th-31st August.
National Eisteddfod, Wales
The National Eisteddfod is the largest cultural festival in Europe, held in a different part of Wales every year. This event champions Welsh language, music, song, dance, art and culture.
Welsh history, heritage, music and culture is very much alive in Pennsylvania with the recent Welsh Week Philadelphia in 2022 which celebrated three centuries of Welsh heritage with music, films, books, seminars, history, language and genealogy.
